We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our team. As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the transportation of goods and materials. Your expertise in logistics and planning will be crucial in ensuring the efficient movement of products across the UK.
Duties
- Plan and schedule transportation routes for the delivery of goods
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Optimize transportation operations to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure ontime delivery
- Resolve any transportationrelated issues or delays
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and expenses
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Transport Planner or similar role
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in using transportation management software
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail
