£65,000 - £75,000


Investment Bank seeks a control expert to support the Head of Control Testing & Assurance in the delivery of independent control testing & assurance programme.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating workshops with process and control owners
  • Identifying gaps in the current control structures and implement new controls
  • Supporting process owners in documenting controls
  • Challenge to ensure accuracy and quality of control inventory
  • Oversight and maintenance of annual assurance
  • Develop and drive improvements to the assurance processes, procedures and methodology
  • Performance of Risk opinion and deep dives on controls groups underpinning particular processes or regulatory activity
  • Own the relationship between risk reporting and 2LoD & 3LOD control functions.

Your skills and experiences:


  • You will be an expert independent control tester. Both conducting design and operating effectiveness assessments.
  • You will have strong experience in assessing and testing control across the front office and shared services (good knowledge of financial products).
  • Capability to critically analyse processes, procedures and data streams to identify, propose and implement necessary enhancements
  • Awareness of regulatory expectations in relation to control testing & assurance programmes (including UK SOX regime).
