Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an AHP to take a leading role in the NIHR funded project "An alcohol-related liver disease multi-stakeholder hub (ARMS-Hub) to enhance research activity in underserved communities in the UK".

The AHP will work as a research coordinator to map and develop clinical and research networks relating to alcohol-related liver disease, organise and lead multi-professional meetings and assist with developing research proposals to tackle key questions identified by patients and professionals.

A qualitative researcher will support the AHP to lead group meetings with members of the public, patients and professionals.

We are particularly keen to encourage involvement of AHPs in the ARMS-Hub and ask the post-holder to use their professional relationships and networks to assist with this aim.

The role is suited to any AHP who can work as part of an interdisciplinary team and who has excellent organisation and communication skills.

Experience of research would be helpful but not essential to being able to carry out this role successfully.

The post provides excellent experience of inter-disciplinary patient-centric clinical research.

It will be an opportunity to work with an expert research team with support from a lead AHP (Dietitian) and qualitative researcher.

This fully remote role does not require in-person attendance at the Trust.
