POST DETAILS AND HOURS:
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday


SALARY AND GRADE:

- £30,000 PA

DESCRIPTION


EH Commercial Services are a business solely owned by East Hampshire District Council providing Environmental Enforcement services that includes littering and dog fouling.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to grow and develop along with the company.

We are looking for a positive, forward thinking and flexible person with great customer facing skills to join our fast-growing team.

We are focused on making a difference for our communities. Helping improve the environment through ethical litter enforcement.


This role will require you to reply to challenges and appeals against Fixed Penalty Notices' that have been issued within the specialist system by investigating the details of the case.

Produce witness statements and court documentation in relation to any unpaid fixed penalty notices.

Liaise with courts regarding number of cases that can be taken and ensure Single Justice Process is adhered too.


Inputting and storage of data into specialist systems to ensure that cases are consistently brought up to date or archived where necessary, maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Deal with processes around customer comments, complaints and compliments - resulting in service improvements.

Providing support to the Operations Manager in the recruitment process and the management of the Body Worn Camera Footage.


Hours:
You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Location:

Main base will be Petersfield, but there may be the need to travel to other sites the company provides services for.


  • At least 3 years' experience in an office or enforcement environment
  • At least 3 years dealing with customers and difficult circumstances both in writing and on the phone
  • IT literate and competent with MS Word and Excel
  • Proficient in English and experience in compiling replies to complex complaints, with the use of current legislation.
  • Sound understanding of GDPR principles and legislation
  • A selfstarter, motivated and organised
  • Discreet, sensitive, confidential when dealing with customers.
  • Adaptable and demonstrate a highly flexible approach to work, together with a genuine commitment to and experience of first class customer service
Although relevant experience would be an advantage, attitude and willingness to learn is of equal importance. Training will be provided covering all aspects of the role


Interview days will be 5th and 6th April 2023

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
