Description

Howdens Joinery are recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join our team as part of our new paint to order service in Thorne, South Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity that will contribute to our continued success and will enable us to deliver ourforecasted growth and extend our service to our customers.

Pay rate and shift pattern:

Base salary (£38,066) plus monthly production bonus
Days based role (Monday to Thursday 7:30am4pm, Friday 6am2pm)

What you'll be doing

Proactive and preventative maintenance
Reactive breakdown maintenance
Continual improvement projects
Supporting and engaging with lean manufacturing techniques to work effectively with PLC programmes

What we're looking for

Timeserved Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Experience of using CNC machinery in a proactive safety environment
A background in maintenance within a manufacturing organisation
Fault finding, rootcause analysis and corrective actions
