£22,000 - £25,000 per annum

Chichester

Permanent

8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday

We have a great opportunity to jon our long-serving and respected client, a leading contributor in the UK agri-foods sector as Sales Lead Developer.

This is a new office-based opening within the sales support team working from the office at Chichester tohelp our clients field-based salespeople and technical advisers deliver on their promise of exceptional customer service.

The primary duties of the position will be to contact potential clients who have been found in prospect listings by telephone and to spread knowledge of all the goods and services our client offer in order to create new leads.

Duties to include:

Contact prospects to introduce the company and establish rapport.
Inform and keep prospective customers informed about all the services and arable products our client supply, promote seasonal sales campaigns and pricing lists.
Manage the prospects list to track activity and progress, reporting back on outcomes.
Make followup phone calls to prospective to confirm receipt of information.
Provide feedback on potential opportunities internally so that these can be followedup.
Maintain and update data so that prospect information is accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

Personable approach with an excellent professional telephone manner, tenacious and resilient.
Experience in telesales, crossselling, new business development within a precious sales/customer sales role.
Organised and methodical, comfortable working with data and systems.
Confident with Microsoft IT packages, Microsoft Dynamics, Word, Excel, previous experience of CRM system.
Working knowledge gained in the agricultural industry would be advantageous.
