About the job:

Consumer Additions is working with a Luxury Fashion Brand to find a Senior Accountant to join their team.

You will be in charge of coordinating and carrying out accounting activities for all UK business as well as providing ad hoc support to the USA entity.

This will entail coordinating and managing compliance activities as well as risk management, all while ensuring first-rate financial and accounting management.

Responsibilities:

Interact with local departments and the regional organisation to ensure timely and accurate accounting and reporting for both statutory and group reporting purposes.
Manage the company's accounting directly and coordinate accounting activities completed in the local office, including Purchase and Sales Ledgers.
In collaboration with Accounts payable, manage legal entities' Treasury matters.
Coordinate timely and accurate tax reporting, filing, and overall compliance in direct and indirect taxation. Observance of revenue recognition rules Revenue and rebate reconciliations with clients
Brand, sales, purchase, and channel profitability assistance
Payroll should be done on a regular basis.

Requirements:

Graduate or equivalent in accounting chartership within CIMA / ACCA or later stages of qualification depending on experience.
Proven work experience in accounting, tax, and reporting in a multinational context
Knowledge of local GAAP
SAGE200/50 Exposure
Ability to work under time constraints.
Be able to communicate in any format while working within a matrix organisation to influence and aid clients' and business partners' understanding.
Be able to thrive in a constantly changing environment by balancing the needs of both Key Clients and Suppliers.
