THE ROLE:


We are looking for a Contact Centre Associate to join our Enrolment Services team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment of healthy volunteers, patients, and any specialist populations, in accordance with ethical guidelines and restrictions involved in Clinical Research.

You will manage the recruitment of healthy volunteers and patients for studies undertaken in the Clinical Pharmacology Unit at Simbec-Orion and act as one of the main points of contact for new and existing volunteers.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Prescreens volunteers according to the protocol criteria for each Clinical Trial being conducted to ensure volunteers and patients meet the required eligibility.
  • Provides volunteers with appropriate knowledge, study information, and documentation required for screening and study participation.
  • Evaluates volunteer feedback and implements changes where necessary.
  • Supports in the monitoring of Simbec-Orion's Volunteer Website and Social Media pages during general or specific campaigns.
  • Supports with managing the volunteer recruitment database, ensuring accurate data entry and information is correct and dealt with in a highly confidential manner, including the performance of database searches according to specific trial protocols, to identify suitable eligible volunteers for upcoming studies.
  • Support in generating any appropriate procedures to effectively prescreen and successfully recruit volunteers onto Phase I Clinical Trials.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL:

- _ Educated to GCSE level or overseas equivalent._
- _ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written_
- _ Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to keep functioning effectively and respond constructively in a fast-paced environment._
- _ Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage any changes to priorities/deadlines._
- _ Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment/independently as required._
- _ Strong computer skills including but not limited to MS-Office products such as Excel, Word, and Teams._


DESIRABLE:

- _ Educated to A-Level or Equivalent (BTEC/ HND/NVQ) or overseas equivalent._
- _ Previous experience in running social media campaigns such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram._
- _ Understanding of the General Data Protection legislation when handling personal information._
- _ Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures._
