If so, Osborne Appointments are currently working with a leading business within their field based in
Stevenage, that are looking to recruit for an experienced
Financial Controller for 12 month FTC - part of maternity cover.

Monday to Friday: 40 hours - 08:30am - 17:00pm_

£35,000 - £45,000, based on experience, weekly pay_

22 days holiday, rising 23 / 25, length of service_


Financial Controller - Key Responsibilities:


  • Produce & Analysis Daily / Weekly Sales Reports
  • Produce adhoc reports for management
  • Processing Purchase Invoices & checking accuracy of information generated on purchase orders.
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Checking Supplier Statements
  • Preparing Supplier payments
  • Actively chasing outstanding invoices for payments from customers
  • Petty cash reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit Card reconciliation
  • Produce weekly reports
  • Imports to Sage 50 accounts
  • Completion of month end including running Trial Balances, Journal Entries & producing Profit & Loss (Excel)

Financial Controller - Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience within similar / same role
  • AAT Level 3 qualified
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables & V-Look Ups
  • Good numerical acumen
  • Experience with Sage 50 accounts
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
