We are seeking an experienced Tutor/Assessor to deliver and assess the Level 4

Oral Health Practitioner apprenticeship standard. This part-time role is ideal for a

qualified dental professional passionate about teaching and developing the next

generation of oral health practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

 Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment sessions, both online and in the

workplace.

 Support learners in building the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to

achieve End-Point Assessment.

 Carry out workplace visits, provide constructive feedback, and monitor learner

progress.

 Ensure full compliance with apprenticeship standards, awarding body

requirements, and Ofsted expectations.

 Encourage and develop learners' personal development, wellbeing, and

professional skills.

 Create and maintain learning materials, including schemes of work,

assessment plans, and work plans.

 Actively promote safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity, and British Values

throughout delivery.

Essential Requirements:

 Dental qualification (e.g., Dental Nurse / Hygienist / Oral Health Practitioner) –

Level 4 or above.

 Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA/A1).

 Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS or willingness to achieve).

 Current CPD record and strong knowledge of oral health promotion and

preventative care.

 Experience delivering apprenticeships.

Desirable:

 IQA qualification.
