The ISD team at UK Greetings design, develop and maintain systems that deliver our commitments to our customers as well as drive efficiency and business continuity for our operations in the UK and in Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished SQL Developer to join ISD and become a key part of our future.

Description of the Role:

You will work as a member of a team and report into a Development Team Leader
You will use T-SQL and SSIS to deliver the complex data processing required by core business functions
You will be a lead in the empowerment of our business and in the delivery of our customer strategies through the provision of high performing, well structured, optimised and consistent data
You will be responsible for all aspects of database management including solution analysis, database design, performance/optimisation, data redundancy and data retention
You will have a good opportunity to be a key component of the future of ISD
The role is based in Dewsbury for the "moments that matter" but offers hybrid / flexible working

Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience of all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server including
ETL/SSIS, SSRS and complex T-SQL programming and data manipulation
Optimised database design & maintenance
Database monitoring including resolution of performance issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;you will be required to work with colleagues in ISD and the wider business to deliver solutions and communicate best practice
C# experience would be advantageous
You will need to be a self starter, organised with a drive for excellence and quality of work
You should have a passion for data and the delivery of business insights
