About us

We are a Nursing Home for elderly where we cater for about 30 elderly residents with various conditions like Dementia, Alzheimer's, physical disability, End of Life etc.

The work environment is quite sensitive as it requires great attention to health and safety and avoiding potential hazard to the residents and staffs.

The home has a very fiendly environment and any maintenace person is treated with utmost respect and given the flexibility to carry out the tasks in an appropriate way.

General Maintenance

Duties:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and building faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that require maintenance.
• Conduct routine Fire Alarm tests and ensure Fire equipment are in right place and good condition.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Painting & Decoration.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

Experience:

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and coordinate tasks.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of logic controllers and electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal staff and external vendors.

Salary:
£22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
