Description

To support the P2P co-ordinator in maintaining and expanding the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) peer mentor programme (based on the Hep C Trusts P2P model) which works across the drug & alcohol recovery service.

To deputise for the P2P co-ordinator as and when required.

To be a resource for teams in regards to BBVs To promote the uptake of Hep B, C and HIV testing across Hampshire.

To test service users for BBVs and provide pre/post-test discussions To support the teams in Hampshire in engaging service users getting tested and accessing treatment for BBVs if appropriate.

To analyse BBV results and record them on ILLY and other organisational recording systems.

Maintain pathways into Hepatology and HIV services To provide support to individuals re:
planning and accessing treatment for Hep B, C and HIV, both on and off Inclusion sites.

To provide support to Clinical workers to encourage service users to accept and complete hepatitis B immunisations Supporting service users through their BBV treatment journey from beginning to end.

Support the P2P co-ordinator in training events, peer to peer talks, presentation and attending conferences to promote the work that P2P/Inclusion does.


To work with the P2P co-ordinator in monitoring outcomes for Inclusion Hants and Hep C U Later Embracing the concept of recovery Ensuring that your work is evidence based, up to date and in accordance with current policy and legislation.

Keeping up to date and accurate records and documentation.
