The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri 7.5 hours/day
Greater Glasgow & Clyde forms the largest Health Authority in the UK which provides Audiology services over a large area of inner city and rural populations.
The service is currently staffed by a clinical team of Assistant Technical Officers, Hearing Aid ,Audiologists and Audiologists supported by a dedicated Administration and Clerical Team.
The majority of the service is based within our Acute Hospitals, the service runs independently using its own patient management system and has full autonomy over the booking of patients and scheduling of activities in general.
We are looking for highly motivated, flexible person to join our existing hard working and dedicated team. We would be keen to hear from individuals currently working in the field of Audiology.Requirements of this post include:
- Current registration with RCCP/HCPC or equivalent.
- A positive attitude and an ability to work in a team as well as being able to make decisions when working single handed.
- The ability to problem solve and use initiative.
- Ability to work with hearing impaired individuals and their family/carers.
- Evidence of having worked with adults with hearing impairment
- Good knowledge of current working practices and developments within audiology.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
