RSR Justice are currently recruiting on behalf of a women's charity based in Nottingham for a HR and L&D Administrator.


This is a full time, fixed term contract for 6 months (maternity cover) and offers a salary of £23,248 pro rata.


Main Duties:


  • Provide day to day HR comprehensive administration support to the client such as processing reference requests, maintaining the Organisational Chart in a clear and precise manner, minute taking and assisting in the production of specific HR reports e.g.
Sickness absence, staff turnover and workforce demographics etc.

  • Support HR Officers and Head of HR in developing and maintaining all administrative systems within the HR Function.
  • Ensure employee documentation is accurately updated in Cascade, Electronic Staff Files, and any other relevant databases.
  • Respond to external and internal enquiries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process the monthly payroll from start to end, with support from HR Officer. Ensure any changes to employment contract, including starters and leavers, which affect monthly payroll are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide the First point of contact for L&D enquiries, answering queries relating to L&D and training.
  • Provide Administrative support for L&D activities, including inductions, mandatory training and other L&D activities.
  • Responsible for raising and checking invoices for training providers and training venues.
  • Coordinate L&D administration, including inviting delegates, booking venues, and arranging trainers.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings, team meetings, supervisions and sub groups as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality on all appropriate matters, any breach will be treated according to the Confidentiality Policy
  • Undertake any other tasks that are appropriate to the post and which reflect the needs of the organisation.

Essential Requirements:


  • Basic HR knowledge or graduate
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and Confidentiality policies/procedures.
  • L&D knowledge is desirable but can be trained.
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative role in a busy and complex environment.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
