Based in Coventry with hybrid options

£38.00 per hour - Inside IR3- Umbrella Rate

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in
Whitley who are seeking a
Marketing Launch Planner to join their team

  • The Opportunity The Market Launch team play a pivotal role in the new Commercial organisation.
  • The Market Launch team sit within Market & Business Operations and are an integral part of the wider Commercial team.
  • Primary responsibilities include the development and management of the Launch Plan and Launch Readiness, incorporating Product Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Communications, Experience, PR, Sales and Customer Service within cross functional teams in order to exploit the full potential for the business and the brand, leading to sustainable profitable growth.
  • Market Launch work side by side with all areas of Commercial, Engineering Programme teams, and Certification and Homologation; and are the recognised primary interface for Commercial with our Manufacturing Launch colleagues.
  • The Role Work with the Launch Lead to develop and execute the launch plan for all new models, replacement models and MY/ Mid Cycle refreshes following the Launch Planning process.
  • Support in the delivery of launch detail in support of the Launch Planning Gateway deliverables. Support in communication of the Launch Plan across the organisation, ensuring consistency of execution.
  • Support Launch Lead in creating Launch Management Meeting /New Model Launch Review inputs and representing commercial in these reviews Create close working relationships with colleagues from all key functions

Skills Required:


  • Project Management Team Work Proficient with Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Have a passion for Automotive products and be product literate
  • Have a high degree of competitor and market awareness
  • Be fully computer literate and skilled in the use of Excel and PowerPoint Team player who is able to develop strong relationships
  • Be highly organised and structured Be thorough and capable of sustained attention to detail.
  • A strategic thinker who can step back and see the bigger picture
  • Determination to continuously improve delivery and scope of job role
  • Have good analytical skills Have a determination and resilience to get the job done
  • Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision and deliver under pressure
  • Excellent communicator with good oral and written communication skills, capable of working with all levels of the organisation.


Gaydon & Whitley The role will be mainly at Whitley, with occasional reasons (once or twice a month) to go to Gaydon.


Once the person is up to speed hybrid working would be possible some weeks if they would like but I would like to plan on the proviso at the moment that the role would require someone in the office 3-4 days per week.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 26 weeks


Pay:
£38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
