We are recruiting for nursery practitioners who also share our values to join our
BRAND NEW 140 place design led nursery due to open in a beautiful building in trendy
Wapping (E1W) this Autumn.

We are conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Wapping Overground station.

Do you have the passion and drive to be part of the opening team and help build an amazing nursery with us? Our days will be adventure packed, messy and creative.

You will be equally adventurous, have bundles of energy and a passion for the importance of children learning through play.

Our nurseries are bright and modern, full of natural resources and open-ended materials.

The Wapping setting is fortunate to have not only a very large garden but also a dedicated Art Atelier and separate Life Sciences room.

Keeping our team at the heart of the nursery we also have a wonderful staff room for you to relax and catch up with colleagues.

Our opening hours are 7.30am - 6.30am our team will work 40 hours across a 4 days of the week.

Up to £26,000 annual salary dependant on experience

What are we looking for?

Must be passionate about developing young minds

Have a creative and fun approach to learning reflected in your activities
Be enthusiastic and proactive
Embrace the settings approach inspired by Reggio Emilia, Waldorf Steiner and Maria Montessori
Have a huge smile and arms that are great for cuddles
Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Love the outdoors and find wonder in exploring the world around you whilst supporting children with their curiosity to learn
Have a creative edge to develop inspiring play spaces
Have the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.

Core Skills & Qualification requirements:

Level 2 or 3 Childcare Diploma (ideally)
Minimum 1 years experience within a Nursery (Must be within last 18 months)
Must be able to demonstrate full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS
Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework
Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Be responsible and punctual

Successful applicants will need to provide 'right to work in the UK' documentation, undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references, prior to commencing employment with us.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
