THE COMPANY
This successful scaleup are changing digital consumer experiences for the better using advanced data science and machine learning techniques.

Their platform accelerates growth for hundreds of successful ecommerce brands, by collecting information on howconsumers shop and make recommendations, and providing useful insights from this data.

THE ROLE

They're looking for an experienced lead/principal data scientist with proven experience managing or leading teams, to work alongside their established engineering team, developing and deploying ML models.

They have a focus on classification, recommendation,and propensity models, so any experience with this will help you stand out.

As a principal, you'll also be expected drive commercial impact in the team and provide structure and training for the more junior members of the team.

This is a great opportunity to take the lead over a team of data scientists, working with a multitude of big clients, and is an excellent chance to further your career towards a managerial position.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Expertise in Python and SQL
Knowledge of hypothesis (a/b) testing
A track record of leading a team, regularly providing commercially successful ML solutions
Experience within digital, ecommerce or marketing companies is useful but not essential
Experience of deploying ML models using cloud platforms ideally AWS or GCP
Excellent communication skills
