Application Engineer

Nordics

Covering a territory across the Nordic Region (_Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Finland_), this position will be instrumental in connecting with manufactures & business to highlight emerging technologies, provide technical support & expertise alongside leadingdesign-in projects.

This would be well suited to an established engineer with a background in customer facing, filed based positions, although full training & support can be provided for a Graduate / junior engineer who is looking for a career position.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Establishing & fostering relationships with key clients, understanding needs & providing technical support / expertise to expand sales of components via design-in projects.
  • Travel between client sites & industry shows building face-to-face rapport with key decision makers.
  • Showcasing new technologies & products, explaining the benefits & opportunities offered alongside providing training for new hardware & software products.
  • Support the sales team with technical expertise, and work alongside IP specialists to register & protect registered products & designs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


  • A degree or similar qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering along with a good knowledge & understanding of electrical design.
  • Fluent in both English & either; Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish.
  • The ability & availability to travel - a full driving licence will be required alongside a valid passport.
