LONDON


Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product.

Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library.

We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events


THE ROLE


We are looking for a proficient Content Sub-Editor with a background in fashion, digital publishing and e-commerce to join our progressive and innovative Localisation Services team.

It is an essential wide-scope role involved in all aspects of the work our brilliant team produces.


As an integral part of the Japan team, you will focus on the delivery of 'revolutionary' content, and work across the many departments to support all functions within Localisation Services.

Working to the company's brand guidelines and tone of voice within a large multi-lingual team, you will be responsible for the delivery of Japanese copy onsite, on App and other channels to the highest standards.

You will be also responsible for the smooth operations of all flat content updates and revamp.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Proofing CRM content, App layout, and Homepages in Preview and Live environments.
  • Communicating deadlines and verifying the completion of projects in coordination with the Project Manager/Coordinator.
  • Subbing and signingoff editorial copy on CAT tool (XTM), as well as verifying content on CMS tool (Coremedia).
  • Working with the team's lead to verify and update ToV documents regularly based on data.
  • Ensuring an errorfree translation memory and updating regularly.
  • Producing copy that corresponds to the industry standards and the region's needs, researching competitors and luxury content on fashion channels.
  • Reviewing and auditing UI content and Flat Pages on internal CMSs.
  • Maintaining product quality on site.
  • Communicating with both internal and external team members including local stakeholders, providing regular feedback to ensure the continuous improvement of quality and a better customer experience.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are fluent in Japanese (native level) and English.
  • You have an engaging, accurate, and adaptable writing style, with impeccable grammar.
  • You have the knowledge and love for fashion from highend designers to cuttingedge street style.
  • You are familiar with designers, brands, styles, culture, and trends for Japanese demographics.
  • You have a strong understanding of garment and accessory construction.
  • You have experience working in localization for ecommerce websites, preferably luxury fashion retail.
  • You have experience with Term-Management and CAT tools.
  • You are comfortable with digital work on an inhouse CMS
