Main purpose of job:


Salary:

£42K-£45K per annum

Job Duties:

• Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, tiling, joinery, decorating, flooring, and carpentry work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of systems and equipment.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed, including documenting any issues or problems that arise using our inhouse maintenance management system.
• Communicate with clients and supervisors to ensure that all work is completed to their satisfaction.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Multiskilled Engineer or a related field.
• Skilled in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Strong problemsolving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
• GAS SAFE registered (Desired)
• NVQ level 3 certification in plumbing (Desired)
• NICEIC or NAPIT certification in electrics (Desired)

Person Specification:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance problems in a timeeffective manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure by remaining calm throughout the repairing process.
• Ability to respond quickly to enquiries from tenants, property manager, landlords and colleagues.
• Actively listening to clients concerns and provide support accordingly.
• Having a proactive approach to problemsolving.
• Contact clients professionally and provide exceptional customer service by showing empathy and patience.
• Forwardthinking when attending properties to complete allocated jobs.
