  • SHIFT: variable hours, HOURS PER WEEK SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE & LOCATION
  • Fulltime, Parttime, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistants [ Domiciliary, live-in, sittings day & night, respite, palliative ]to professionally and thoughtfully deliver care during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of our service users.

To provide care to service users in accordance with their individually assessed needs to a high standard. Every day and every client is different. You will support your clients with a range of activities including personal care, medication, hydration, nutrition, companionship, health and well-being

You must have the following qualifications:

  • Care Certificate beneficial
  • NVQ qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Valid Driving Licence preferred but not essential, and must have your own reliable car.
We are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • Experience of working with older people
  • Knowledge and use assessment tools
  • Understand care planning processes
  • Use of Electronic Care Planning
We are looking for someone with the following technical skills:

  • IT Literate
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improvement service delivery and outcomes for service users
  • Ability to be flexible with regard to working hours
  • Builds effective and credible relationships both internally and externally
  • Works collaboratively with others sharing ideas and information at all times
  • Effectively builds trust with a consistent approach between actions and words
  • Has the ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas
  • Will take responsibility for issues and resolve them
  • Able to cope in difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to build rapport and positively influence others
  • Ability to inspire professionalism

£26,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
