Description


Our Client, a hugely successful family business producing dairy products, has an opportunity available for a Despatch Team Leader in their Cowdenbeath site.


  • Long term work opportunities, initially working on an agency contract basis however providing standards are met these positions are expected to lead to permanent contracts
  • Full time hours 5 over 7 6am 2.30pm / 2pm pm
  • A competitive rate of pay £13.70 ph
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate above contracted hours
  • Training within a supportive environment
  • Refer a Friend scheme while working via Be Personnel
As a Despatch Team Leader you will supervise employees ensuring smooth day to day running of the Despatch area

Key tasks include although are not limited to:

  • Adhere to all Company Health and Safety procedures and HR policies and Procedures
  • Supervise working environment ensure all cleaning procedures are adhered to
  • Supervise safe loading and unloading of all vehicles
  • Check and manage all stock rotation
  • Any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Despatch area
  • Cover for Despatch Manager on Days off/Holiday
We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience of managing a team
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • An understanding of basic food hygiene
  • Good communication skills
