Throw in their flagship shows such as Match of the Day, Sports Personality of the Year,and new events like the Hundred and International Cricket and they truly have a portfolio to shout about.


They are seeking a Production Manager to join their Sport Production Management team on a FTC to work on their Cricket output.


They want their output to reflect and understand the audiences they serve - for example, the different geographical regions of the UK and the experience of people from underrepresented groups (eg people from Black, Asian or minority ethnic backgrounds, peoplewith lived experience of disability, individuals within the LGBTQ+ community and those from lower socio economic groups).

They are therefore actively seeking individuals with skills or experience that can help contribute towards ensuring they maximise thediversity of their coverage and content.


Role Responsibility


You will work collaboratively within the production management team and in partnership with editorial colleagues to deliver the outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform content that they are renowned for, by providing the ways to realise editorial ambitionswithin operational and financial constraints.


The role will bring effective leadership to production management staff on the production(s) and play a key role in maintaining a professional pan-Their production management community.


We're looking for a talented individual with a considerable knowledge of Live, Content and Highlights programmes and an interest in digital consumption, with experience of studios, outside broadcasts, host broadcast operations and working on location.

Youwill be confident in managing relationships, working with key stakeholders such as governing bodies, host broadcasters, Dock 10 and The Farm.

You will have demonstrable working knowledge of end-to-end production, being jointly accountable with editorial colleaguesfor a variety of aspects including compliance with their policies and managing the operational performance of the production(s).


You will be an experienced manager, enjoy developing the skills of your Production Management team and may be required be part of recruitment campaigns.

You will be a confident communicator and able to liaise with a range of Producers, On Air talent, suppliersand Host Broadcasters and collaborate with the other Production Managers within Sport and across North.

A real interest in sport is beneficial to enable efficient running of the output.
