Location:
Head office (HR9 7US), with home working as agreed


Job Type:
Part/Full time (minimum of 3, upto 5 days per week)


Salary:
£35k - £40k (pro rata) based on experience


This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the directors.

Chroma has over 100 art/drama/music therapists working nationwide.

We seek a highly motivated and people-orientated person to join our senior leadership team. You will be responsible for developing all aspects of how we look after our people within Chroma.

This will include recruitment and retention to increase capacity within our current workforce, sourcing and jointly interviewing new associates and employees, bringing in HR and Line Management expertise and building relationships with university training courses and other professional organisations.

You will be focused on;

  • Acting as a key collaborator to increase internal capacity within existing employees and associates
  • Leading a collaborative recruitment approach that scales to the dynamic demands of Chroma
  • Thinking creatively to ensure the longterm best interests of our people remains our priority
  • Defining consistent datadriven hiring metrics and goals
  • Staying connected to new trends in HR, talent acquisition and retention


As Chroma works nationally, this role will include some travel and overnight stays, for example, to attend recruitment events or when showcasing Chroma to Masters-level students who are about to finish their HCPC-approved creative arts therapies training courses.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies which result in attracting highquality creative arts therapists (through various channels, including professional training courses, social media, and networking)
  • Gather feedback from therapists on their experience working with us and recommend any changes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current therapists to encourage and increase capacity
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to improve HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed reports on recruitment and retention activities
  • Identify and establish relationships with potential recruitment partners, such as educational institutions and professional bodies
  • Liaise across Chroma's referral, clinical and operational teams to plan recruitment & retention
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices for therapist recruitment and retention

Person Specification Essential Skills:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and presentation skills
  • Experience in recruitment and retention
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative recruitment and retention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong networking and sourcing skills
  • Experience using social media and events as a recruitment tool
  • Have a full UK driver's license
  • Passion for the mission of our organisation

Desirable Skills:


  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • An understanding of the creative arts therapies
