I am currently partnered with a large Insurance business on their search for a Expense Management Analyst during a period of growth.


  • Day to day expense base overview and management, with knowledge of performance, monitoring with agreed appropriate expense metrics, actively challenging and controlling spend in line with strategic priorities.
  • Month end process, production, variance analysis and reporting of the total expense base, to required formats and timetables.
  • Designing and implementing regular MI and commentary on agreed metrics, ensuring, in conjunction with Expense Business Partners, stakeholder ownership and responsibility for financial performance and targets.
  • Providing understanding and transparency around expense categories, together with financial impacts.
Profile requirements

  • Qualified Accountant or Part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience within Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Hybrid working available.
  • Must have full right to work within the UK (no sponsorship available).
