Role:


Working within this flagship building and prestigious environment near Liverpool Street, your primary role is to ensure the security of people, premises, and property, protecting the reputation of the client/tenants throughout availing of the onsite security systems.

As a CCTV Controller you will supervise all aspects of the client's/tenant's security requirements and support the Security Manager in the day-to-day running of the security function.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors

  • Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation
  • Promote the client, tenants other service providers positively to all you come in to contact with, throughout the customer journey
  • Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated
  • Ensure all contact, be it internal or external; by telephone, face to face or any other medium; is clear, courteous, polite, professional, and respectful
  • Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; protecting people and information is paramount
  • Where applicable: appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion
  • Embrace and deliver the bespoke training requirements, specific to contractual obligation or regulation
  • Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety and Environmental procedures are followed and do not undertake any activity which could breach the SIA, GDPR or other relevant regulations

Security CCTV Controller duties:


  • Working within a busy control room environment, you will be monitoring access control, CCTV, fire detection alarm systems and providing effective reporting to the wider security team and relevant third parties stakeholders
  • Provide a highly visible proactive security approach with emphasis on access and egress controls.
  • To operate internal / external security CCTV systems on a regular basis ensuring familiarity of site layout, building and GDPR processes.
  • Upkeep of key asset tracking and other administrative tasks pertaining to the security control room and workload activities archiving daily paperwork, clear reporting writing, ID card management, IT movement, records etc.
  • Providing a customer focused service, always maintaining a professional and courteous manner towards the public, the client, residents, and colleagues.
  • Comply with all GDPR procedures and processes
  • Ensure Health and Safety of staff and visitors as per safety file. Responding to all emergencies in accordance with Control Room procedures.
  • Be fully conversant in site SOP's
  • Effectively respond to security incidents and escalate via the appropriate channels
  • Assist supervisor in their daily duties
  • Actively monitor CCTV to ensure the Security team are proactively identifying any risks or fault

Essential Skills CCTV Controller

  • Valid SIA SG/DS licence
  • CCTV Licence
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Surveillance and access control system knowledge
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
