Responsibilities:


  • Issuing policy documentation to brokers, members, and assureds across all Skuld Offshore P&I product lines (e.g., Mutual P&I, MOU P&I, Fixed P&I and Charterers P&I).
  • Monitoring future renewal spreadsheets and preparing renewal letters for underwriters.
  • Assist with drafting quotations for new business and with the handling of renewals.
  • Produce relevant underwriting reports (loss records, fleet lists, business overviews, statements of account).
  • Monitoring and chasing outstanding premium, liaising with credit control, and attending quarterly credit control meetings.
  • Answering documentation and premium queries from brokers, members, and assureds.
  • Monitoring incoming new business enquiries and entering relevant details in Skuld's underwriting system (TIA) and department spreadsheets.
  • Assisting the documentation and underwriting teams with all other queries.
  • Participate in projects, business development or system development.
  • Work in conformity with Skuld's underwriting guidelines.
  • Keeping files and shared business mail inbox up to date.
  • Assist with organising marketing activities, when required.
  • Attend relevant market presentations and seminars.
  • Be up to date on and gather knowledge about assigned market area of responsibility.
  • Take responsibility on specific work tasks of varied complexity.
