Solen Energy is an independent national wholesale distributor for a wide range of Solar PV, EV and Electrical products.


The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, driven and self-motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team.

Our warehouse team of operatives play an integral part in ensuring the future success of our established and expanding business in online and offline sales.

You'll be a vital part of our Warehouse team, working together and accurately to ensure the delivery of our products in a timely manner.


Key responsibilities of Warehouse Operative:


  • Picking, checking, packing and shipping of products; accurately and to a high standard. Effectively using the electronic / computerised warehouse system.
  • Operating FLT truck (not essential)
  • Assisting with stock counts
  • Completing daily housekeeping duties.

Key requirements of Warehouse Operative:


  • Ability to work well as part of a team.


  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to communicate between team, other departments and management
  • Experience of using computers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear understanding and appreciation of health and safety procedures
  • FLT licence (but not essential)
  • UK Driving licence (but not essential)
  • Ability to work under pressure, with accuracy & deadline oriented

Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Widnes, WA8 8FZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
