Are you a qualified primary school teacher? Are you available for work right away?


Empowering Learning are working with a school in the NG3 area who are looking to appoint a PPA teacher to work across their school to cover a range of year groups.

The role will start as soon as possible for the right person and the hours of work will be08:00-16:00.


The school is part of a successful academy trust and is a short bus ride away from the city centre.

There is also a large car park on site.

The main duties within the role will be:

  • Covering planned lessons from EYFS
  • Year
  • Ensuring good levels of progress are being made by all pupils
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and reward policies within lessons
  • Liaising with the class teacher around progress of the pupils
  • Delivering high energy lessons to inspire pupils

The school are looking for someone who:

  • Holds qualified teacher status
  • Has been teaching for at least one year
  • Is confident working across different year groups
  • Has a passion for teaching
  • Holds an enhanced DBS
  • Is available right away
