Firmware Engineer - DSP Designing - Cambridge

A growing start-up defence company, based in Cambridge, are current looking for a Firmware Engineer who can help with developing their bespoke technologies for the defence, communications and aerospace sectors.

The majority of your work, at least to start with, will be on DSP design and modelling with a focus on you using unique problem-solving techniques.

As the technologies and services provided need to be made bespoke for specific client's facilities, this means each project has a completely unique problem and solution.

You will be redesigning new components continually in this role, a really interesting approach to different problems to supply the solutions.

This is a role that will keep you interested and engaged.

We are open to people from different sectors, however if you have any aerospace, defence or communications experience it would be beneficial.

It is essential for you to have a number of years of experience Firmware development.

The company have full design and manufacturing departments, this means you will get a lot of different problems to solve, something most Firmware engineers say they are looking for.

Due to the nature of some of this work we ideally need you to be able to obtain security clearance.

This normally means holding a British passport or living and working in the UK for the last few years, while also not holding a criminal record.
