Location:
Wales, UK

Responsibilities:

Operate a vehicle (preferably your own) to transport goods, or materials to designated locations across Wales.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, cargo, and yourself.
Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and ensure timely deliveries or pickups.
Load and unload items securely, maintaining proper handling and care during transportation.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, or dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address any issues or changes in plans.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for passengers or recipients of transported goods.
Keep the vehicle clean and wellmaintained, performing routine inspections and addressing any mechanical issues promptly.
Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs or mileage records, accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Access to a reliable vehicle (preferably owned) with valid insurance and registration.
Familiarity with driving routes and locations within Wales.
Previous experience as a driver preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and handle tasks efficiently.
Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed.
Willingness to undergo background checks or screenings as required.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary:
£13.50-£15.50 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
