Architectural Technologist


Building Design Services are Hull City Councils Construction Consultancy Department providing a comprehensive range of construction services covering Operational, Commercial and Housing portfolios.

This also includes architecture, building and quantity surveying, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering, landscape architecture, compliance, property maintenance, asset management and land surveying.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, professional, and motivated individual to join our Architectural Section reporting into the Associate Architect.

You will be involved in capital projects, as part of a design team from RIBA Stage 0 to 7.

Your responsibilities will include client liaison, design feasibility input, project team lead for schemes £5k to £50k using NEC 4 Short Contract, technical co-ordination with and integration among multi-disciplinary design teams and specialist consultants under the guidance of an Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist, Technical Advisor role and procurement of surveys.
