This Branch is a busy, Dynamic and Expanding Electrical Wholesaler and we are looking for you to join our friendly team in the role of Business Admin Apprentice.


What is an Electrical Wholesaler?


Electrical wholesalers sell the products we all use in our homes, businesses, entertainment venues, cafes that give us access to electricity - from lighting our homes through to floodlighting a football match, from recharging a mobile phone to recharging an electric vehicle.

The products you will be working with are used in domestic, industrial, and commercial settings, and are installed by contractors and electricians.

We are looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join our busy branch.

After full training your role will include:

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Administering Return policies
  • Booking in stock
  • Arrange couriers on the system
  • Monitoring the stock control
  • General administration tasks such as filing / photocopying / managing post


  • Inputting data

  • Assisting with Sales and Operational admin tasks (producing purchase orders etc.)
  • General administration tasks
  • Answering phones to suppliers / customers
  • There will be a need to assist in the warehouse from time to time picking orders.

Apprenticeship Training
As an apprentice you will complete a Business Administration Level 2/3 qualification with a national Training Provider.

Your apprenticeship Training will focus on your job, is completed at the workplace, and you will be allocated a tutor and a study session in your working week.


Components of the Business Administration Level 2/3 Apprenticeship

  • Maths/ English (if required)


  • End Point Assessment

  • Final Knowledge Test, Observation and Discussion

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship, and all being well, there will be a full-time role with the company.

From there you could progress to other job roles such as external sales, team leader, assistant manager and even Branch Manager.
