We are delighted to be working with an exciting BioTech company whoa re looking to add a Software Engineer in Test to their growing team.

This will be based onsite at their offices in Cambridge.

Software Engineer in Test

Your tasks::


  • Collaborating with software and instrument development teams to establish the optimum way to test software products
  • Maintaining test hardware and software environments
  • Monitoring and reporting daily test results, investigating failures and submitting defects as necessary to the team
  • Learning new technologies and tools as needed to solve test challenges on evolving projects

Skills and experience required::


  • Proven relevant test experience in a commercial capacity using C# for desktop apps
  • API testing experience
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio /.NET software development tools and ability to build testrelated coding
  • Experience in using platforms to automate Windows software GUI testing
  • Experience using Jenkins / TeamCity or similar to schedule and manage test runs and results
  • Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent for managing defects and tasks
  • Innate knowledge of software test principles and practices
  • Ability to work across disciplines and understand software use cases; can clearly articulate ideas, problems, and solutions
