Job Overview:
We are seeking a Support Associate to join our team.

As a Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to individuals with special needs, including toddlers and those with autism.

Responsibilities:


  • Communicate effectively with individuals with special needs, their families, and other team members
  • Provide care and support to toddlers and children with special needs
  • Assist in implementing educational programs tailored to the unique needs of each individual
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care and education
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals with special needs
  • Help individuals develop social skills, communication abilities, and independence
  • Monitor and document progress, behaviors, and any concerns or incidents
  • Support individuals during daily activities, including mealtime, personal hygiene, and recreational activities

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or autism
  • Knowledge of toddler care practices and techniques
  • Understanding of special education principles and strategies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying abilities
  • Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with special needs
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

£89.00-£107.76 per day
