Are you an experienced Software Integration seeking a new permanent role? We are supporting a permanent position that is Based in Gaydon.

You will lead the electrical Integration programme delivery, integration, change control, testing and error trackingteams.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the operational control and delivering the integration of all EE content
  • Manages the vehicle line integration teams to maintain the software release process
  • Lead the testing team in the planning of software integration testing and DVP activities to ensure feature delivery programme
  • Commodity testing and sign off
  • Provide overall governance to the change management process by leading the change management board
  • Lead the support of build issue containment and resolution
  • Ensure there are sufficient resource & skills within each area to support delivery requirements
  • Deployment of external consultants into team, where required to fill skill and knowledge gaps
  • Business Planning: Determine investment & resource required to deliver product content and put in place team requirements to deliver it
  • Is the point of escalation for issues
  • Manages programme top issue resolution
  • Support commodity team leaders with QCWFT tradeoff decisions & other roadblocks
  • Review and challenge both programme and commodity timing to confirm delivery

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience of delivering integrated EE content in automotive vehicle programmes
  • Extensive knowledge of software/feature delivery
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools (including communications, engagement and behavioural and cultural change)
  • Experience of electrical automotive engineering change management control
  • Experience of EE integration and bundled releases
  • Experience of leading a department with significant team size
  • Knowledge of EE testing methodologies and processes
  • Understanding of the financial impacts of change
  • Experience of automotive programme delivery processes
  • Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution
  • Experience of automotive preproduction build environments
  • Knowledge of, or experience in delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities/systems, including quality, cost, function, weight and timing
  • Knowledge of automotive development systems e.g. releasing, concerns, containments, gateways and sign off documentation
  • Supplier management and negotiation experience
  • Technical engineering background and a knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive decisions
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create and assemble components or systems
  • Knowledge of automotive quality tools and processes
  • Appropriate Electrical Engineering degree
  • 2nd degree / further learning
  • Membership of appropriate Professional Organization
  • Project management and planning skills
