Part time, 7 hours per week

£4,209 per annum for a 7-hour week, plus pension


Do you want to work in a small team making a big difference to local communities?:
If so then come and join the team at the Midlothian Community Garden.


About our community garden project:


We support people in our community garden to feel part of something, learn new skills and creating a place where people feel close to nature.


This post supports people from the local community to access our outdoor gardening opportunities and cooking courses and will help with the administration of new community pantries across Midlothian.


About the role:


You will be the first point of contact for enquiries from a range of stakeholders including potential course participants, volunteers, and referrers.


You will work closely with the Garden Coordinator to complete the admin duties needed for the day-to-day running of the project.

You will work directly with the Service Manager on tasks such as reporting, monitoring, evaluation, and media communication.

It may be a small team, but it has a big impact


About You:


  • You'll be:
  • Flexible and well organised, with a keen eye for detail
  • Experienced in providing admin support and managing competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator
  • Calm and creative in your approach to problem solving
