Due to our current expansion, we are looking for Warehouse Pickers to join the team and support the Operations team.

This role is paid at the real living wage.

In terms of shift patterns, we operate a day shift 6am -2 pm and a backshift 2pm - 10pm, and the shift pattern will cover some Saturdays and Sundays.

There is an increased rate of pay for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

The role responsibilities would be including but not limited to:

Using handheld scanners
Scanning barcodes and serial numbers to locate and pick the correct items for shipments and to ensure that inventory is managed accurately.
Safely picking items from shelves.
Packaging completed orders in protective bubble wrap and cardboard boxes to protect them during shipment
Meeting picking speed and efficiency targets as specified by Manager/Supervisor.
Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary

Essential

Ability to learn to operate a handheld scanner (if you are able to operate a smart phone you will be well on your way) technology such as a smart phone
Hard working attitude, being reliable
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to work while standing for long hours and consistently lift at least 10 kg safely
