Müller Yogurt & Desserts which is the UK's leading yogurt manufacturer which aims to create millions more Müller moments for its consumers.
It is responsible for major brands like Müller Corner, Müllerlight, Müller Bliss, Müller Rice, FRijj and Müller Kefir Smoothie and produces chilled desserts under licence from Mondelez International.
It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.
We're recruiting for a Shared Service Centre Procurement Specialist based at our offices in Telford, Shropshire on a hybrid basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate procurement processes including:
- carrying out quality check of Purchase Requisitions according to a checklist and process purchase orders for issue to suppliers
- obtaining commercial guidance from Procurement Category Buyers (if required)
- maintaining / monitoring of open purchase orders
- handling of supplier claims (jointly with Accounts Payable SSC team)
- escalating supplier quality issues to Procurement team
- supporting resolution of invoice mismatches (led by Accounts Payable SSC team)
- supporting spend analysis exercises
- supporting vendor sourcing processes and maintenance in collaboration with GPR
- Tender management for selected high volume categories
- maximise use of preferred suppliers with agreed contract rates
- Analyze current state processes and systems, business requirements and future state processes and systems
- Drive endtoend process compliance through standardization and improvement
- Support the process solution development / design activities in team establishment
- Seek out and recommend opportunities for process automation and assist with their successful testing / implementation
Requirements:
- Desirable but not essential is a basic understanding of Procurement processes and experience in Procurementrelated operations (e.g., Purchase Order Processing)
- Experience in SAP MM, SAP BW, SRM and SAP Ariba (desired but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
