Description

The RUH has been running a hugely successfully International Recruitment programme since 2018 and we will soon be welcoming our 500th internationally educated nurse to the trust.

We are now looking for an additional Coordinator to join our International Recruitment Team and support our ambitious targets for the next 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join us. The role is pivotal to ensuring that internationally recruited health professionals are fully supported throughout their recruitment journey.

You will be part of a small team focusing on the recruitment and arrival of internationally educated health professionals. It's a busy, varied and rewarding role.

You will benefit from the knowledge and experience of friendly and supportive colleagues in the Recruitment Team.

You will also work closely with the pastoral support and accommodation teams to ensure the recruitment journey and arrival goes smoothly.

You will liaise closely with the agencies who source our internationally educated nurses and midwives. This relationship is key to ensuring that the process runs to timescales and deadlines.

You will be one of the main contacts for the health professionals from the point of offer all the way through to their arrival and first couple of weeks in the UK.

You will offer support as they integrate into their clinical roles and therefore some experience of working within a customer facing role would be useful.

The role involves maintaining and updating several databases, systems and trackers, so you will need to be a master of multi-tasking and comfortable with dealing with variable deadlines.

If you have experience of project co-ordination in a large organisation then this would also be helpful.

We offer hybrid working and you would normally need to be on-site for 2 days per week, with flexibility to work additional days if required when the internationals arrivals are due.

Some of the accommodation we provide is off-site and you will therefore need to be able to drive.

At the RUH we're proud to put people at the heart of what we do, working together as one team to make a difference for our patients, each other, and our community.

No matter what your role is, we value everyone's contribution in supporting the exceptional, person-centred care we pride ourselves on.

We are committed to creating a compassionate and inclusive environment.

This can be seen in our growing community of staff networks - celebrating successes and creating opportunities to listen and learn.

We value our differences, champion kindness and civility, and truly believe that diversity makes us stronger.

A culture of learning, developing and innovating is the thread that runs throughout our whole organisation. We want to support you to thrive, taking your career to its full potential.

We value staff wellbeing, with a well-established programme of support.

We believe in a holistic approach spanning all aspects of living a healthy life, including physical, emotional, spiritual and financial wellbeing.

We've even got a pool

We are committed to supporting you and hope you want to join our team.
