£55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality & Services Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
To support the Quality & Services Manager across all functional areas, to develop and deploy effective solutions to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of operations and services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To participate in improvement of processes for operations & services activities for problem identification and resolution.
- To manage RCA activities for significant quality issues from start to closure and ensure that resulting improvement project activity progress is regularly reported appropriately.
- To ensure preventative activities are completed and delivered with error proofed solutions resulting from RCAs, investigations and lessons learned.
- To analyse costs of nonquality related to operations and/or services, using appropriate quality tools such as 8D, DMAIC or value stream mapping to propose actions plans and manage them to closure in a timely manner.
- To track, analyse and report quality KPIs at various executive meetings.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant technical degree or above in engineering, technology, or operations.
- Require training and experience in the use of quality tools at Green or Black belt level.
- Ideally applicants will have recognised qualifications in quality auditing.
- Experience in quality methods and procedures in an industrial environment (such as aeronautics, electronics, defence, automotive) involving industrialisation, manufacturing, equipment installation or marine installation activities.
- Minimum of 10 years of quality/industrial experience in a similar role.
- International work experience with multinational teams.
- Experience in technical & quality management and continuous improvement projects.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with a good level of pc literacy.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage crossfunctional teams at all levels.
- Ability to prioritise workload, adapt quickly to new requirements and work under pressure.
