Memorials Assistant

(South Shields Crematorium)

£24,496 pa

We are looking for an enthusiastic and conscientious team member to join Bereavement Services

Your duties will include:

Inspecting the safety of memorial stones in the Borough's cemeteries and closed churchyards;
Assisting with the inspection of new memorial stones;
Providing cover for other operational areas of the service;
Interacting with clergy, celebrants, funeral directors, bereaved families and memorial stonemasons in an emotionally challenging setting.
