The
Technical Writer Service Engineering for Cytiva is responsible supporting our ongoing development programs for both new and legacy products.

The TechWriter will be a critical team member working cross-functionally in supporting new product development and legacy instrumentation in documentation.

To improve standardization and quality compliance the role will transfer technical content delivered from the Service Readiness Engineers into our standard formats and lead the release according to our processes.

There will also be a heavy involvement in our internal improvement initiatives within Global Service Readiness Engineering team.

This position is part of the
Global Service Readiness Engineering Team located in
Portsmouth, UK and will be
hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Finalize service related documents with content provided by the Service Readiness Engineers
  • Ensure quality and technical accuracy of content and compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO, GdP, EHS, etc.)
  • Run engineering change orders in collaboration with Service Readiness Engineering Team
  • Managing and monitoring all document releases and updates in our several platforms
  • Drive standardization of our documentation according to field service needs and quality compliance requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience in life science industry
  • Effective communication skills and boundless behavior—ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Experience of working in project teams meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Familiar with ISO/GmP/GdP quality systems related to design control and product release requirements and audits
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing in English language
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Customer oriented attitude with effective communication skills
  • Selfmotivated, selfstarter with the ability to work independently and learn quickly
  • Experience of PDMsystems (Magic) is a plus
