We are looking for a Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions who shares our commitment to supporting adults to learn at every stage of their life.
- a recently established student recruitment team (known as the Enrolment Team) and an experienced admissions team. The teams sit within the Institute's External Engagement Division, which also includes the marketing and fundraising functions. We are a warm, supportive and fun team who look out for each other. The Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions will lead the function strategy and will line manage the managers in the team to enable the achievement of strategic goals and objectives for student recruitment and admissions.
You will oversee the function strategy, instil professional standards, and robust, reliable and transparent processes and ensure the best possible applicant experience lies at the heart of the integrated service.
Using HE/ FE sector policy knowledge and expertise in leading student recruitment and/or admissions functions, you will drive innovation through continuous improvement of high-quality and seamless prospective student journeys that fulfils the Institute's regulatory and legislative requirements.
The role requires someone who can develop successful partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders across the University, building connections between diverse departments and contributing to committees and working groups related to the function.
