Senior Bid Manager ( Pensions & Savings)

Up to £65,000 + generous benefits (including large bonus potential)

Remote and/or Hybrid working considered, with offices around the UK

The role


Our client is investing heavily in Workplace, with plans to not just retain but largely expand their market share to continue their existing and longstanding success in the market.


In this role, as a Senior member of the Bid Management team, you will assist in delivering a first-class response to RFPs and assist in showing up exceptionally well in pitches and site visits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the pitch & tender process, whilst ensuring compliance within set deadlines.
  • Contribute towards shaping external messages & USPs whilst holding a strong understanding of the Workplace strategy and plans.
  • Support the completion of panel questionnaires and surveys accurately and within timescales, again with a focus on integrating core external messages
  • Support the development of the wider team
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our propositions, changes in legislation, taxation and our overall strategy and plans
  • Lead complex enquiries which require a high degree of creativity and bespoke responses
  • Deliver efficiencies and improvements from new creative tools and innovative technology through to managing workflow systems, risk management tools & MI reporting
  • Collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, building a strong personal network
  • Position our proposition in the best possible way to support new client wins and the retention of existing clients across both pensions and flexible benefits
  • Challenge and question the status quo in a creative and effective manner

What are we looking for?
Essential

  • Bid Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Financial services experience (preference for corporate pensions)
Desirable

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals APMP / Bid best practice.
