Description

Our client is a large and well-respected British law firm hiring a Conflicts Lawyer to join their team in London.

In this role, you will report into the General Counsel and work closely with senior stakeholders to provide guidance to ensure the highest standard are met across the firm.

This is an exciting opportunity to deal with diverse issues across the firm.

Key responsibilities will include:

Advising partners and feeearners on compliance and regulatory issues, including the SRA Code of Conduct
Managing internal and external claims investigations and responding to general SRArelated enquiries
Answering queries on retainer letters and terms of business, and proactively proposing amendments
Updating policies and the risk register
Delivering training on compliance issues
Acting as an escalation point for legal and commercial conflicts
