Are you an enthusiastic and passionate person who would like to help children to achieve the best possible outcomes?Educate are working closely with a school in Connah's Quay, Deeside who need an experienced individual to work with a young person who requires support with behaviour, keeping focused on tasks, emotional support and a nurturing on an on-going full time 1-1 basis.
Ideally you will posses the following qualification
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
- BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
However we will also consider experienced individuals who have previously held a job in a primary school or secondary school, the care industry, youth work or similar but do not hold any of the above qualifications.

As a teaching assistant you'll be expected to:
- Work on a supply basis as and when required by the local schools
- Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
- Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
- Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
- Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills

- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

£67.88-£88.00 per day
