Customer Service Advisor | Full time | Office Based | Ashby de la Zouch


Working as part of the EV Cargo Solutions Commercial team you will be required to provide excellent customer service whilst managing customer expectations and ensuring repeat business and business growth alongside maximizing gross margin.

As a member of the EV Cargo team you will be working with large-scale well-known customer brands and multiple hauliers across the UK.


The role's key responsibilities are:


  • Be the main point of contact with the customer for information sharing and issue resolution.
  • Develop strong working relationships and trust with key contacts.
  • Ensure cost and service compliance to internal and customer processes.
  • Take ownership and responsibility from the initial order through to successful delivery.
  • Proactively monitor all areas of key sensitivity ensuring compliance to process and customer request.
  • Responsible for compilation and distribution of relevant reports and KPI's.

What we need from you:

Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths.

Experience. Previous customer service experience. Previous experience of working within a small team environment. Experience of Windows 10 in a business capacity.

Communication. Along with excellent customer service skills you will have good communication skills, spoken and written. You will have an excellent telephone manner. A team player with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Influence & Persuasion. Excellent attention to detail. Administration skills. A self-starter. A methodical and structured approach to problem solving. A can do attitude with a flexible approach. An approachable and reliable attitude.

People & Self Development. A keen attitude towards self-development.
