GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client located in Droitwich, for an experienced Electrical Tester to join their well-known, highly successful and rapidly growing organisation.

Our client is a lead provider of HVAC Solutions within the engineering services sector across a wide scope of industries, all across the world.

This is a full time, permanent position: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:00am till 13:00pm

You will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical installations are installed and tested in accordance with the latest edition of BS7671.

Electrical Tester main duties:

To test and inspect electrical installations within prefabricated plantrooms and modules to the standards and requirements of BS767
To complete NICEIC certificates utilising Clik software.
Complete the certificates and obtain QS for sign off.
Manage annual PAT testing of company assets.
Maintain good housekeeping standards adhering to 5S standards.
To discharge all responsibilities in a timely, accurate, conscientious and professional manner
Work in a flexible and cooperative manner according to the fluctuating demands of the business.
Completion of work on schedule and to a high standard.
Signing of job cards and test certs
To report any problems and maintain a situational awareness when on site to effectively communicate all faults and defects to the correct.
Meeting deadlines for work to be complete and to the Production requirements/standards.
Following the current H&S regulations and keeping in line with the Electricity at Work Act 1974 and all relevant legislation.

Electrical Tester desired skills and experience:

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Experience in testing commercial installations and compiling certificates.
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/
Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified.
PAT testing experience / qualification.
Full UK Driving License
Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team.
Excellent time keeping
Good communication and a hardworking with a can do attitude towards work.
Highly motivated to improve customer experience and reduce costs.
Experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment desirable.
Computer literate
Full training given for company software programs.

For all the above requirements the successful Electrical Tester will receive a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum based on experience.
